My favorite running is on the trails. There is something so peaceful about running on the trails in the fall/ winter time. The colors are so beautiful with the leaves changing and the snow falling.
Not only is it just so beautiful but it’s also a great workout. It is harder to run on the uneven surfaces. The trails help strengthen are legs more than flat surfaces plus most likely you will be hitting some hills which is a bonus.
Trail running is not for speed….it’s to crank up your stamina and strength. So don’t worry about your overall pace on these runs. It’s all about the distance.
